Performance and Compatibility
The AirLive WL-5430AP is a 54Mbps Wireless Access Point with outstanding performance at an very competitive price.  Fully compliant with the latest IEEE 802.11g standard, the AP establish high speed wireless network at the same frequency spectrum as 802.11b.   The antenna is detachable to allow upgrade to hi-gain antenna.  Best of all, it is compatible with most 802.11g and 802.11b devices.

Multimode Functions
Equipped with a powerful RISC processor, the AP features advanced multi-function capabilities.  By changing the firmware, it can also function as a wireless bridge to connect LANs together across different buildings, floors or areas at 54Mbps speed.  The AirLive WL-5420AP's bridge can operate in point to point(P2P) and point to multi-point mode.  

For connection to the wireless router, the AP client function is provided.  This allows your PC or network to connection with remote wireless device.  Powerful security with WEP, WPA, or WPA2 encryptions allow secure data transfer over long distance.

Universal Repeater 
The built-in repeater function let the AP to serve as an wireless signal extender for your wireless router or AP.  This will increase the wireless coverage.  In addition to the standard WDS repeater function, the AP also feature Universal Repeater mode that works with devices without WDS function.  This means your current wireless router and AP will be compatible  with it.

*Note: When the AP is in Repeater mode, the Ethernet port is for web configuration only.  It is not linked with the wireless network.
