he AirLive BT-201USB is a Bluetooth USB dongle that support the latest Bluetooth 2.0 standard.  That means it can achieve the extra performance boost using the EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) technology while maintaining compatible with older Bluetooth 1.1 and 1.2 products.

Connecting your PC and Notebook to Bluetooth Device
The BT-201USB instantly turn your Notebook and PC into a Bluetooth capable device.  That means you can connect your compouter to mobile phones, PDA, notebooks, printers, Bluetooth Headset or another PC.  The Broadcomm's Widcomm utility supports a variety of services including Serial Port, Dial Up Networking, Fax, Headset, PIM Item Transfer, PIM Synchronization, File Transfer, Network Access, Audio Gateway, and HID.  

Extended Data Rate
The best thing about Bluetooth 2.0 technology is that it support multiple data rate from 1Mbps, 2Mbps, to 3Mbps.  So you finally get faster data speed using Bluetooth device.  The power consumption is down as low as 50mA.  This means you get faster speed and lower consumption at the same time.

The BT-201USB comes in a very small size that you can carry it easily anywhere.  In addition, a transparent cap is included to protect the USB connector from elements.  

*It is not recommended to use this device with the AirLive Stereo Family.  You should choose BT-120AD when pairing with BT-120HP/BT-120AR
